Introducing – High-Speed, Highly Insulated Cold Storage and Freezer Door

In March 2024, Hörmann North America added the ISO Speed Cold to their line of cold storage doors. This unique, one-of-a-kind door system is so versatile it may be installed in a variety of environments including coolers, freezers and blast freezers, interior production and distribution rooms, as a replacement for sliding doors with plastic strip doors in deep freeze environments, paired with conveyor technology, and even exterior openings.

Sections are 3.9” (100 mm) thick and include thermal breaks, which provide excellent insulation. The door opens at a speed of up to 80 inches per second. A built-in light curtain automatically reverses the door if a beam is interrupted, which prevents the door from contacting pedestrians and passing loads. Widescan and LED Lite Advance safety devices are available for even more peace-of-mind around the door opening.

In addition to extreme efficiency, two track configurations are available for ease in accommodating tricky refrigerated and cold storage applications.
