Custom Color Matching
Step 1. Place an order with your Hörmann Dealer
Tell your dealer you would like to order a Galaxy Paint custom color for your door. Don't have a dealer yet? Find one using our Dealer Finder!
Step 2. Send Two Samples
using the supplied pre-paid envelope

Building materials from your project
Sample Types
Your samples can come from a wide variety of sources such as:
- Paint swatches from your local paint store
- A sample created using paint directly from the paint can
- Building material from your project
Sample Requirements
- Both samples must be on a FLAT substrate at least 2" x 2" in size. The color must be consistent across the swatch. This ensures a clear read of the color by our color-eye technology.
- Be sure to write a valid return address on the pre-addressed envelope.
- Place the samples in the pre-addressed envelope and drop at your local United States Postal Service (USPS) location and note the tracking number provided at the post office for your records. We will contact you if there are any issues with your order or your color samples.

Due to Light Reflective Value (LRV) guidelines, this color is not permitted on 5000 series doors. If utilized on PU doors, Class II reinforcement package is required.

Due to LRV guidelines, this color is restricted on 5000 series doors to door foundation painting only. It is not permitted to be used on overlay portions of the door.
