Manufactured to Hörmann’s quality standards, every 225P standard-duty (25 gauge steel) and 224P heavy-duty (24 gauge steel) door comes with FingerGuard™ pinch-resistant section joints, which promote safety and reduce risk of injury.
Door panels are manufactured with a special preparation process that includes hot dipped galvanizing that is applied to the steel substrate, followed by a baked-on polyester base coat, then a durable baked-on polyester finish coat. This layering creates a long-lasting surface finish for maximum protection against adverse effects of the elements. A deep tongue and groove section profile adds to overall structural integrity, and the heavy-duty between-section-seals perform as gaskets between section seams, reducing air infiltration while enhancing insulating properties when optional insulation is included.

Section Detail
Modern Classic panels are constructed using heavy duty commercial grade extruded aluminum stiles and rails. Choose from one of our beautiful anodized or solid powder coat finishes. Obscure and tinted glass as well as solid aluminum and expanded metal panels are also available.
